Hemorrhoids After The Cure

If you're suffering from hemorrhoids, this may be one of the strangest articles you've read on the subject, especially since a cure seems to be light years away. I know the feeling. I've been there. But let me tell you something. Even after the cure, your life will never be the same. This article explains.
I suffered from stage 4 external prolapsed hemorrhoids for over 10 years. Perhaps you know what that's like. Maybe your hemorrhoids aren't as bad. I don't know. Only you can answer that question.
Anyway, one day I found something that effectively "cured" my hemorrhoids. The reason I use the word "effectively" is because, technically, I still have them. They just don't bother me anymore. I now lead a normal life. Well, actually, no; anything but normal. And that's the point of this article.
Sure, I'm pain free. But there is something strange about my life now in spite of this. My life still revolves around my condition. Let me explain how.
In order to remain pain free, I have to administer a treatment to my anal canal each day, 3 times a day. I have to do this especially after each bowl movement. That presents an interesting problem. What if I go out? What if I need a bathroom while I go out? That means I have to carry around my treatment with me. Now fortunately, the treatment comes in the form of two small bottles. So I can fairly easily carry them around. Still, in the summertime, with no jacket and very few pockets, having to carry a wallet and keys and a cell phone, this presents a very interesting problem. Ultimately, I have to wear a sweater with pockets to carry the bottles in. Can you imagine wearing a sweater in 100 degree heat and having people stare at you like you're crazy?
But the inconvenience of having to carry around my treatments with me is just the start. See, the simple fact that I have to carry them around in order to keep my hemorrhoids from flaring up means that I can never truly just forget about my condition. It is always in the back of my mind. It's always there. It will always be there until the day I die. And there will always be that thought in the back of mind, "What if someday my condition goes back to the way it was?"
For now, I am pain free for 2 years, 10 months and 19 days. These have been the best 2 years, 10 months and 19 days that I have had in the last 10 years plus. And for as long as I'm pain free, I'm going to enjoy every single one of those days.
If you're suffering from hemorrhoids and someday find a "cure" you need to be prepared for life after the cure. Because whether you know it or not, it's never really going to be the same again.

If you suffer from hemorrhoids, you're probably wondering how having them is going to affect any sports activity. Well, there is some good and bad news on this front. It all depends on the sport. I am going to run down some of the common ones and point out the good or bad in each. You are definitely going to find that some activities are more painful than others. Let's begin.
Let's start with America's favorite pastime, baseball. The good thing about this particular sport is that, for the most part, you're on your feet most of the time. That is of course unless you're at bat and sitting in the dugout. Sitting is never a good thing for hemorrhoids. So you probably want to stand through most of the game if you happen to be suffering through a bad bout.
Aside from that, there is one additional problem. You're going to be doing some running. Not as much as other sports, especially if your position is catcher where you're crouching through most of the game, but some. Every single time you run to make a catch or if you're running to first on a hit, you're sending blood down through your body. The more running you do, the more blood is sent down. Eventually, if you do this enough, and depending on how severe your hemorrhoids are, you will notice that they begin to creep out of your anal canal. This is because the blood flow is making them swell.
So if you're going to play baseball, you want to play a position where you're probably not going to do a lot of running. Pitching is a great position for those who have hemorrhoids as pitchers do very little fielding. You want to avoid sitting and running. Catching is close to sitting so you probably want to avoid that position as well.
The above applies to other sports with running such as football, basketball, hockey, soccer and so on. Soccer is especially bad for hemorrhoids as you are practically never standing still. And soccer matches are also very long. This can be a real killer.
Other sports you want to avoid at all costs are those where you're sitting a lot such as horseback riding. This is especially bad on hemorrhoids between the bouncing on the horse and the sitting itself. A half hour of horseback riding can set your hemorrhoids back a week in recovery time.
Golf is a great sport for hemorrhoids. Slow walks are easy on them and, unless you use a golf cart (I don't recommend it) there is no sitting at all. The only thing you will notice is that when you swing on the drive, because of the way your body twists, if you suffer from external hemorrhoids, you will notice a slight pinching sensation at the bottom of the anal canal. This shouldn't be too painful but can be if your hemorrhoids are thrombosed.
I suffered from hemorrhoids for over 10 years so I pretty much know what you can and can't do. Fortunately, I no longer have to worry about these things. You can read my story about how I beat my hemorrhoids in my signature below. I think you'll find it most helpful to you.

Hemorrhoids, also called piles, will be each excruciating and embarrassing. They itch, burn, swell, and bleed. Nobody desires them, but few people know the home remedies for hemorrhoids.

But what causes hemorrhoids? Why do some people get them, and not other individuals?

One of the most causes of hemorrhoids is excess pressure in the blood vessels in the rectum. This can be brought on as a side impact of constipation,

Hemorrhoids Treatments & What I Recommend

If you have tried many types of hemorrhoid solutions then you most likely perceive the variations of how each is used. In this text, I'll check what each of them do for the body, how they will treat hemorrhoids or piles, and also the controversial, raw truth on most of them.

The initial common kind is creams and ointments where a topical treatment is rubbed on your outer rectal space and aims to soothe blood vessels.
